SCROLL STORY PAINTINGS


I started scrolling in 2019 as a way of putting pen to paper without pressure of having to assign words and meanings to what I was going through.

It became a meditative process of releasing stress and anxiety brought on by life.

Now looking back through variations of so many stories, I love getting lost in the lines and layers of scrolls and being in a place where I can imagine a possibility for a different ending, new beginning, easier middle.

The story is in the endless scroll and layers of paint. 

Each layer holds a chamber of whispers amplified only by our selective memories, connected to the next by chains until it becomes one single cohesive story.
